I spent many summers on the Grand Strand after my parents purchased a vacation home in Myrtle Beach. In 1994, after all the bad snow and ice storms in New Jersey, I made the decision to purchase my parents vacation house and move to South Carolina. Since that time, I have seen the Grand Strand expand, not just in tourism, but with more people moving here from all areas of the US. I worked for a national non-profit for 15 years. During those 15 years, I developed relationships with many volunteers in all the areas of South Carolina I covered. Many of them have turned into lifelong friends that I am so blessed to have. My husband, Jimmie, and I opened our home to several foster children since 2013. We were blessed to adopt two foster children, Zayne and Bella, both in 2016. I have had the privilege of serving on the Horry County Foster Parent Association Board. I value relationships like family – with passion, dedication and by being genuine. Working with people to help make a difference in someone’s life is important to me.
